New 'Inside Out' Trailer Released

Finally, a new trailer for Inside Out was released today. And, just as I expected, it's amazing!

This trailer shows off a full scene from the film, so it's not a usual trailer. It's just like what they did for one of trailers for Brave and also similar to the first minute of one of the Big Hero 6 trailers, where they showed part of the scene with Hiro and Baymax in the police station. By the looks of it, the film will have everything you expect from Pixar. A creative, inventive story, lovable characters and tons of heart!

I also loved the editing and pacing. This was very effective when they were constantly switching back and forth between Riley and her parents, and each of their emotions triggering the response. You'll understand what I mean when you watch the trailer.

Also, the emotions seem a lot more multi-dimensional than I thought they would be. Rather than them being over the top caricatures of different emotions, they feel other emotions as well. For example, Anger is obviously a very angry character. But at some points in the trailer, I saw him smiling! He's not always angry, though he is very easy to set off!

Overall, this was an excellent trailer. It shows off the many of the inventive ideas and how they will balance both the story of the human characters and the story of the emotions. I am extremely excited for this film! Inside Out comes out on June 19, 2015 so get your emotions straightened out after having them go all over the place from the awesomeness of this trailer and start counting down the days!
