Short Film Entitled 'Feast' to be Shown Before 'Big Hero 6'

Disney Animation's upcoming collaboration film with Marvel, Big Hero 6, is going to have a new short film. It's going to be called Feast. Here is the synopsis:

Feast is the story of one man’s love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.

This sounds like it could be a very interesting and heartfelt short film. Disney never fails to impress me with their short films, so this is most likely going to be just as good as their previous works. There is just one thing that is making me question something about the short film and it is right under this.

This is a piece of concept art that was released alongside the announcement. This is making me wonder whether the short film is going to be in full blown CGI, or if they're going to use the same technology as Paperman, the short film that was shown before Wreck-it Ralph. I know this is just concept art, which is almost always hand drawn, but it would make a lot of sense for this short film to use the same technology as Paperman. This would make even more sense when considering that Paperman, a good chunk of Get a Horse!, and The Ballad of Nessie (which you might not be aware of since it was shown before Winnie the Pooh in 2011, which was a huge box office flop) are short films that were not only shown over the previous 3 Disney films, but were all hand drawn, even if Paperman used different technology.

Also, Feast is going to make its premiere at the Annecy International Film Festival on June 10th. I am really looking forward to seeing Feast before Big Hero 6 on November 7th, 2014. It's a short film that, much like the film it's attached to, screams ambition.
