'Coco' is a Beautiful, Moving Film Worth Remembering
6 years in the making, Coco has finally been released to the world. With the promise of a Pixar film about family and about the Mexican holiday of Dia De Los Muertos, I have been waiting for this film since it's announcement back in 2012. It brings me great joy to say that Coco is not only the best film of the year, but one of the most moving and creative films I have ever seen. I expect nothing less from Pixar.

REVIEW: 'Finding Dory' is an Unforgettable Companion Piece to the Equally Fantastic Original Film
13 years after the release of Finding Nemo, Pixar has dived back into the sea with Finding Dory, a film that is not only just as good as the original and is a perfect companion piece to it, but is a phenomenal film on its own as well.

REVIEW: 'The Good Dinosaur' is a Beautiful, Epic and Ambitious Pixar Masterpiece (SPOILER-FREE)
With countless production problems, including a director change, countless delays, and a whopping 6 years in production, The Good Dinosaur has finally made its way to the big screen, and I'm happy to say that it was well worth the wait. The Good Dinosaur is a marvel, not just visually, but in its storytelling and its characters. It is a truly heartfelt, yet epic adventure film that hits all the right notes.

New Trailer for 'The Good Dinosaur' Released
This is yet another Pixar trailer that caught me completely by surprise! We knew a new trailer for The Good Dinosaur was coming soon, but I, along with the entire animation community, thought we would have to wait until D23 next month. I was pleasantly surprised to be seeing a new trailer out so soon! Anyways, enough about that. Let's get onto the trailer itself!

'Inside Out' Opens with $91 Million, Marks the Biggest Opening Weekend for an Original Film
This is probably the most intense weekend at the box office I've ever experienced! With Inside Out and Jurassic World going head-to-head, Inside Out had some stellar competition. Ultimately, though, Inside Out only made it to second place, breaking Pixar's streak of films constantly topping the box office on opening weekend. But that doesn't mean it couldn't break a pretty huge record along the way! Let's take a look at the numbers!

REVIEW: 'Inside Out' is an Inventive, Funny and Heart Wrenching Pixar Masterpiece
After Pixar's 2 year hiatus without any new releases, that glorious Pixar moviemaking magic we haven't seen since 2013's Monsters University has finally made its return to the big screen with their 15th animated feature film, Inside Out. And I am extremely excited to tell you all that Inside Out is a true work of art, with an inventive premise with beautiful storytelling and raw emotion. It changes the way we look at animation, and even ourselves as people! It really shows what this beautiful art form that is animation is capable of, and that is giving us a beautiful, powerful and inventive story with fantastic visuals, world building and set and character design.

New Voice Cast for 'The Good Dinosaur' Revealed
As you all know, The Good Dinosaur when through countless changes in production. This, of course, meant a director change, pushing the movie back until this November, and completely reworking the story. I don't even think the dinosaurs are even farmers anymore like they originally were! However, that wasn't all that changed during production. Unsurprisingly, the voice cast was also completely changed.

Teaser Trailer for 'The Good Dinosaur' Released
Well, this certainly caught me by surprise! I was hearing things about a teaser trailer for The Good Dinosaur being released. However, I just assumed it would have been released closer to the release of Inside Out. I wasn't expecting to see the teaser the very next day! Pixar didn't even make an official announcement a few days before on social media like they usually do! They were completely silent about it. But, the teaser is out now and I couldn't be happier, not only because I've been wanting to see some footage for a long time, but also because this is one fantastic teaser trailer!

2nd Trailer for 'Inside Out' Released
The 2nd trailer for Pixar's next film, Inside Out, has become out just in time before the release of Disney's live-action Cinderella. To me, it was obvious that they would release a trailer for this before Cinderella since that is one of the bigger Disney releases of this year. But while the existence of yet another live-action Cinderella remake has disappointed a lot of animation fans (myself included), this Inside Out trailer certainly does not!

How the Art of Animation is Helping me Cope With Loss
This is going to be a lot more personal than my other blog posts, but I am not afraid of writing about my personal life on here, as long as it is related to animation. In this case, this beautiful art form has been helping me through a very tough time right now. I should point out that I am not one of those really depressed and unhappy individuals. In fact, I think I'm quite the opposite. However, it is perfectly normal for me to be having a hard time dealing with what I am about to tell you and it is also perfectly normal for me to find ways to overcome this. I am here to tell you how this, unfortunately, underappreciated art form has been helping me through an extremely tough time in my life.
