Toy Story of Terror is an Amazing, Fun TV Special

Toy Story of Terror is Pixar’s first TV special, and unsurprisingly, it is amazing. It is a TV special done right and it just goes to show that no matter what, whether it’s a film or a TV special, Pixar can make a great story, with great characters, character development and depth.

In Toy Story of Terror, Bonnie and her mother go to a motel to stay for the night and one by one, each of the toys go missing. Without spoiling anything, it turns into a big adventure story.

For a TV special, there was a shocking amount of depth and character development. I have plenty of examples, but the story is so thrilling that I don’t want to spoil anything. The animation is also stunning. Usually, TV specials and TV shows based on movies really cheap out on the animation. Also, all of the jokes are really funny. There is not one joke that falls flat.

There are a lot of new characters that were introduced. There was Combat Carl, a bunch of Lego pieces that builds itself into different things, a toy clock among others. They were all really lovable. I love when Pixar does this kind of thing and introduces all these new characters.

Overall, Toy Story of Terror was an amazing TV special which provides the Pixar experience we are all so used to. I am really excited to see what other TV specials Pixar will make in the future.
