I still can't believe they're making a full length animated film out of the insanely successful Angry Birds. It just doesn't get more pointless and more stupid than that. Making a movie out of an overrated app makes absolutely no sense and it's insane to hear about these kinds of things.
Anyways, Coming Soon has confirmed that this abomination will be released on July 1, 2016. This gives the studio, Rovio plenty of time to rethink this, but unfortunately, given the massive success of Angry Birds, that's unlikely.
How did Angry Birds get so popular anyways?! Sure, the game is fun and all, but it has gotten far too overrated. Also, How on earth are they going to make a full length film revolved around circular birds and circular pigs?!
