Pixar may not be making a film this year, but that doesn't mean you won't be seeing anything from them. In fact, not only was there a Monsters University short entitled Party Central, but there's also going to be a new Toy Story TV special on ABC.
The title of the TV special is Toy Story That Time Forgot. There was also a little summary of the story, and it is really intriguing. It's as follows:
During a post-Christmas play date, the 'Toy Story' gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It's all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie's room.
Does that or does that not already make you excited?! It sounds so action (figure..... see what I did there?) packed!
I am really happy that Pixar's 2014 offerings aren't just limited to one short film. Having a short film and a TV special kind of makes up for there not being any feature films. Then again, last year, there was a short film, a TV special and a feature film but this year, we just got to take what we can get!Also, if you read my review of Toy Story of Terror, then you know how much I loved that TV special, so I'm really looking forward to this one. Toy Story That Time Forgot will be released this Christmas, as it is a Christmas special so get excited, animation fans!
